With two NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 GPUs powering its new Silverdraft DemonVR solution, Toyota was free to integrate VR into their development workflow, freeing up creativity, avoiding unnecessary Rapid Prototype time delays and expenses, and reducing travel costs by creating new opportunities for collaboration.
With extensive experience in the film post-production industry Mike McCarthy knows what is required to support robust M&E workflows. After reviewing the 15" PREVAILPRO P4000 mobile workstation Mike concludes that it's one of the most powerful 15-inch laptops available, especially if your processing needs are GPU-intensive.
"It supports 8K monitors... and does many media tasks just as fast as my desktop workstation. It seems like an ideal choice for a power user who needs strong graphics performance, but doesn't want to lug around a 17" monster of a system."

Quadro GV100 with Volta architecture brings unprecedented capabilities in deep learning and simulation to designers, engineers and scientists.
As demand for deep learning continues to gain momentum, it’s already changing the way people work. Driving the next wave of advancement in deep learning-infused workflows is the NVIDIA Volta GPU architecture.
In his keynote address at the GPU Technology Conference 2018 in San Jose, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the new Volta-based Quadro GV100, and described how it transforms the workstation with real-time ray tracing and deep learning.
The Quadro GV100 addresses the growing demands of the world’s largest businesses — in such fields as automotive, architecture, engineering, entertainment and healthcare — to rapidly deploy deep learning-based research and development, accelerate deep learning-enhanced applications, enable photoreal VR and provide secure, anytime, anywhere access.
Bringing unprecedented capabilities in deep learning, rendering and simulation to designers, engineers and scientists, the new products allow professionals to design better products in a completely new way. GPU-accelerated techniques, like generative design, and the ability to conduct complex simulations faster mean businesses can explore more design choices, optimize their designs for performance and cost, and consequently bring ground breaking products to market faster.

Digital Engineering (DE) reviewer David Cohn put the PNY PREVAILPRO Quadro P4000 based VR-Ready Mobile Workstation through extremely rigorous and comprehensive testing and concluded:
“…the new PNY PREVAILPRO P4000 definitely establishes itself as the lightest weight and lowest cost VR-ready 15.6-in. mobile workstation currently available—a distinction likely to be very attractive.”
Going to GTC 2018? Experience the power and performance of the PREVAILPRO P4000 in a thin and light package at PNY’s Booth #425. Make sure you check it out and enter the drawing to win your own PREVAILPRO!
The PNY PREVAILPRO P4000 packs a powerful 15.6-in. mobile workstation into a package the size of a 14-in. laptop.
"This slimline 15-inch mobile workstation breaks all the rules by putting the powerful 'VR Ready' Quadro P4000 GPU at its heart,” writes Greg Corke for Develop3D, “PNY is no stranger to workstations … with the PREVAILPRO P4000 it's making quite a statement."
Formerly to get the power and performance required for professional workflows requiring 3D design, Virtual Reality (VR) or GPU rendering, you had to invest in a thick and heavy 17-inch display system. But as Corke points out 17-inch mobile workstations are not that practical for designers or architects due to their size, weight and battery life.
