Dynamic Machines is a community-based 3D art contest where visual designers are challenged to build a computer generated Dynamic Machine. The goal is to guide a chrome ball from the starting platform, all the way to the finish line, any way you can imagine, with any 3D program. In the end, everyone’s Dynamic Machine will be combined into a single, rendered video.
In our first contest, Parallel Dimensions, visual designers were challenged to create a reality of a recently discovered habitable planet, Perseus. It was a surprising turnout of amazing talent, submissions, and over 2.8 million views on its render recap. Now we’ve got another challenge for visual 3D artists looking to bend their creativity and skillset further. This will be our second contest partnered with Visual Effects artist, Photographer and Director, Clinton Jones, or better known to his 700k YouTube following, as ‘PWNISHER’.
Three submissions will be chosen to win workflow boosting prizes including the Grand Prize of an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000, second prize a PNY CS3140 M.2 NVMe 1TB SDD, and the third prize a CS9000 2.5” SATA III 500GB SSD.
We are looking forward to seeing the final result!
