Your system’s NVIDIA GPU driver is a key performance and system stability component. NVIDIA drivers have long been recognized as the gold standard with great up-to-date features and new capabilities for its NVIDIA Quadro and GeForce graphics boards. NVIDIA recently released enhanced drivers for NVIDIA Quadro and GeForce GPUs that implement exciting new features for professionals and enthusiast gamers.

For our NVIDIA Quadro-based design, digital content creation, healthcare, and media and entertainment communities, NVIDIA’s R450 Optimal Drivers for the Enterprise release adds NVIDIA Quadro certified optimization and support for new features found in the latest software suites from Adobe, Autodesk, Blender, Chaos, and Cored. This new driver also brings full support for Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate and the Vulkan 1.2 APIs.

Also integrated into Quadro Desktop Driver Release 450 is NVIDIA Quadro View, the successor to nView, NVIDIA’s noted desktop management interface. The new NVIDIA Quadro View interface allows users to elegantly create desktop profiles optimized for specific office tasks or workflows and switch between them quickly and easily.

Users utilizing NVIDIA Quadro Sync II and Mosaic are advised to remain on the NVIDIA Quadro R440 driver branch for the time being. When this changes a new Tech Tip will be published.

 

GEFORCE GAME READY DRIVER

 

For PC gamers the new GeForce game ready driver version 451.48 is also available.

This new Game Ready driver release provides full support for Microsoft DirectX 12 ultimate and the Vulkan 1.2 APIs. It also supports Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling when used with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update. Additionally, driver 451.48 also adds support for 9 additional G-Sync compatible monitors.

NVIDIA STUDIO DRIVER

 

For content creators, NVIDIA Studio driver 451.48 is an exciting upgrade that you will quickly embrace.

This new Studio driver includes the same support for the Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate and Vulkan 1.2 APIs, with support for Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling when used with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update found in the Game Ready driver mentioned above.  The Studio driver includes additional optimizations and support for new features found in the latest creative suites from Adobe, Autodesk, Blender, Chaos, and Coral.
