PNY is delighted to host a webinar centering on Chaos Group’s extraordinary new Vantage software, and how it can take massive 3D datasets and scenes, immediately present them in photorealistic ray-traced quality, allow designers, architects, VFX specialists, and other creative or technical professionals, to fluidly and intuitively interact with them—all without data conversion, ingest into a game (or other) engine, even establish a persistent live link to category leading applications like Autodesk 3ds Max, so that any changes to your 3ds Max model are immediately reflected in Vantage.
Topics: PNY, Webinar, 3D, NVIDIA GPU, 3ds Max, Autodesk, VFX, ray tracing, Real-time ray tracing, GPU acceleration, Chaos V-Ray, Ampere, NVIDIA RTX A6000, NVIDIA RTX, NVIDIA Professional GPUs, Chaos Vantage, Chaos Group
NVIDIA Omniverse™ is a powerful, multi-GPU, real-time simulation and collaboration platform for 3D production pipelines based on Pixar’s Universal Scene Description (USD) and NVIDIA’s open-source MDL (Materials Definition library).
Omniverse aims for universal interoperability across different applications and 3D ecosystem vendors. Think of it as a “PDF” for advanced 3D graphics. It provides efficient real-time scene updates and is based on open standards and protocols. The Omniverse Platform is designed to act as a hub, enabling new capabilities to be exposed as micro-services.

The Thanksgiving parade wasn’t New York City’s only huge event in November.
The 2016 NAB Show New York, hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters at the Jacob Javits Center, is the largest media, entertainment and technology convention on the East Coast. The event, held from November 9 – 10, had the most attendees ever with more than 15,000. This year, an alliance between Sharp and new Sharp Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR) program member PNY Technologies Inc. wowed the crowd with two demos to showcase how Sharp displays help in the production of 360˚/VR (virtual reality) video content creation and 3D photorealistic renderings for broadcast and film.
