With extensive experience in the film post-production industry Mike McCarthy knows what is required to support robust M&E workflows. After reviewing the 15" PREVAILPRO P4000 mobile workstation Mike concludes that it's one of the most powerful 15-inch laptops available, especially if your processing needs are GPU-intensive.
"It supports 8K monitors... and does many media tasks just as fast as my desktop workstation. It seems like an ideal choice for a power user who needs strong graphics performance, but doesn't want to lug around a 17" monster of a system."

PNY was proud to be a Gold sponsor of GTC 2018, and have the opportunity to showcase how Quadro GPUs, including the new NVIDIA Quadro GV100, powered by NVIDIA Volta, can facilitate AI, Design, Rendering, VR and Simulation projects.
Launched at the show, the formidable new AI and compute enabled NVIDIA Quadro GV100, demonstrated how it effortlessly meets the demands of AI-enhanced design and visualization workflows. Delivering 118 TFLOPS of deep learning performance, a 2x GV100 NVLink enhanced workstation showed why it is an ideal choice for AI development.

Form initial concept to product release, PNY’s new PREVAILPRO with its powerful performance in an ultra thin and light mobile workstation is helping to revolutionize design and manufacturing workflows.
PNY PREVAILPRO Mobile Workstations are ideal for:
3D Design • Rendering • Design Review• Simulation • Collaboration
Whether you are interactively rendering photorealistic visualizations of massive CAD models, performing complex engineering simulations, or taking advantage of immersive, collaborative VR, PREVAILPRO powerful and advanced mobile workstations accelerate workflows for more rapid iterations, enabling unlimited creativity.

"This slimline 15-inch mobile workstation breaks all the rules by putting the powerful 'VR Ready' Quadro P4000 GPU at its heart,” writes Greg Corke for Develop3D, “PNY is no stranger to workstations … with the PREVAILPRO P4000 it's making quite a statement."
Formerly to get the power and performance required for professional workflows requiring 3D design, Virtual Reality (VR) or GPU rendering, you had to invest in a thick and heavy 17-inch display system. But as Corke points out 17-inch mobile workstations are not that practical for designers or architects due to their size, weight and battery life.
Carl Flygare, PNY’s NVIDIA® Quadro® Product Marketing Manager, discusses with Roadway Media’s Pallab Chatterjee how GPU rendering, specifically the VCA Certified System powered by eight Quadro P6000 boards, is changing the rendering pipeline component of digital workflows for manufacturing, product designers, architects and other creative agencies. Roadway produces Bright Blue Innovation, a tech show broadcast by Comcast on channel 27 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99 in the San Francisco East Bay, that covers innovation as a driving force in the technology world.
